Second round of Information Sessions started

The team at HOST Aotearoa, the umbrella organisation for the Community Refugee Sponsorship Programme, held another successful Information Session with interested community organisations considering the Community Refugee Sponsorship pathway. Birgit Grafarend-Watungwa, the National Program Manager for HOST Aotearoa was particularly happy to be able to introduce the new team who started earlier this year: "It is fantastic to work alongside a great team who are equally passionate about the programme and to present alongside them at their first Information Session."

The team was also thrilled to see many friends, colleagues and sector partners from other organisations. It was lovely seeing so many of you on a Tuesday evening. A big thank you to Sarah Ward from Immigration New Zealand who was co-presenting alongside HOST Aotearoa NZ. Thank you everyone for coming along.

We are still working through the questions to ensure we answer them all. Many were answered during the session so check out the recording from last night's meeting. We will also put up another list of Frequently Asked Questions from the session shortly so you can refer to those.

We know there is a lot of information to take in about the Community Refugee Sponsorship Programme. We are happy to talk to you and your group about your plans and support you through the application process. Get in touch with the team: Contact | HOST Aotearoa New Zealand.

Thank you everyone for coming along. If you missed the session and would like to attend on a future date, there is still time to register for one of the upcoming two Information Sessions. Links to the registration forms are on this site: News and Events | HOST Aotearoa New Zealand.
